Introduction

My name is Kate Spratlin and this summer i will be turning 22 in London. I am very excited to be taking this class because I love learning about the culture of this beautiful city. I have a twin sister named Liza who is also on this study abroad trip and a 12 year old sister named Dorothy. My house could be called a farm because it consists of 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and 14 hermit crabs.

I am an aspiring film major. I would like to start the field in editing and hopefully work my way up someday to directing or something else. Acting has always been something that I have been passionate about also. I am an avid reader and feel lost if i am not reading a novel.

This is my second time going to London and i am very excited that I will be spending much more time here than before. Also we are on our own which is a great experience and i look forward to traveling outside of London also. If I had to pick a place to live it would be either in London, New York or L.A. Something about the city live attracts me. I look forward to discussing all of the novels that I have read for this class because i thoroughly enjoyed them, especially Dorian Gray.
